Celebration Day

One who can celebrate himself will be always blissful, because then he is no more dependent on anyone. All dependence brings misery. Yet people always want someone to be always with them, to party together. Why? Because they cannot face inner loneliness. Anything born out of this loneliness can never be celebration, it is merely a pastime; and all pastimes end up in misery. The true celebration is born when one is connected to himself, when one is rooted in his aloneness, when one can simply be, doing nothing, absolutely nothing. Then the simple acts of sitting, walking, lying down and staring at nothing become acts of celebration. Such a celebration is deep and lasting.
